Our combination sewer cleaners — also called combo trucks or jet vac trucks — combine high-pressure sewer jetting with vacuum suction (with blow-back) in a single unit. Two separate tanks are provided: a fresh water tank and a sludge tank. The machine can jet underground drain lines and vacuum sludge from chambers in the same pass. Blocked drain and sewer lines from 50mm up to 900mm in diameter or more can be cleared effectively and efficiently by high-pressure jetting, while sludge and high-solids settled material in manholes or septic tanks can be vacuumed from a depth of roughly 8 meters (26 feet). Beyond simple suction, the blow-back system can mix settled silt with water into a slurry before vacuuming it into the tank. Units are built on truck or trailer chassis depending on tank capacity.

As with our standalone sewer jetters, the right jetting pump for a job comes down to flow and pressure relative to the diameter of the line being cleared:

Every model ships standard with Conical Head and Round Head nozzles (front and rear holes). Specialty nozzles — penetrators, root cutters, descaling nozzles, and rotating nozzles — can be supplied to match specific jobs, the same as on our standalone sewer jetters.
The collection body's discharge system can be configured to match how you unload at the disposal site:
Match the diameter of the line you need to jet against the flow/pressure table above, and the volume of sludge you expect to vacuum against the tank capacity and vacuum pump flow. Capacity increases from the CM-4000 up to the high-flow CM-8000.
Conical Head and Round Head nozzles, both with front and rear holes, are standard on every model. Specialty nozzles such as penetrators, root cutters, descaling nozzles, and rotating nozzles can be supplied to match specific jobs.
A wider hose is needed to carry a higher-flow vacuum pump's output without excessive restriction. The CM-8000's 540 cum/hr pump uses a 4" hose, while the smaller CM-4000 and CM-6000, at 390 cum/hr, use a 3" hose.
The standard configuration is hydraulic tilting combined with hydraulic door opening. Hydraulic door locking, a derrick arm, or a hydraulically operated suction hose reel can also be specified.
