Our ditch cleaning machine is a purpose-built solution for cleaning roadside open drains and ditches. These are conventionally cleaned manually or with backhoe loaders designed for digging, not ditch cleaning — with a backhoe, the operator sits at the center of the machine, offset from the ditch, making it easy to misjudge the reach and damage the side walls. On top of that, the removed silt is typically dumped on the ground and has to be collected separately by another crew.
Our unit is available on trailer chassis towed by a tractor (35 HP minimum), on a compact 4-wheeler chassis, or on a heavy truck chassis. Hydraulic power is drawn from the tractor's PTO through a propeller joint, or from the vehicle's engine PTO on the 4-wheeler and truck versions. Operation is fully hydraulic, controlled by a lever valve near the operator's seat. The telescopic side box section extends hydraulically for better reach and visibility into the ditch, and the boom swings through 90 degrees with a bucket of roughly 50 liters to collect silt, mud, and sediment — emptying it directly into the attached trailer or truck body. This eliminates re-handling the collected silt, which can then be dumped hydraulically at the disposal site.
