Telescopic Boom LiftT-3000

The T-3000 is Maniar's tallest telescopic boom lift, with a 30m working height and a 10m horizontal outreach on a 12-ton GVW chassis, for maintenance and installation work that needs the greatest straight-line vertical reach in the telescopic boom lift line.

How It Works

A telescopic boom lift works on a straight boom made up of nested sections that extend and retract hydraulically, rather than the multi-jointed arm of an articulating boom. That straight-line construction is what lets the T-3000 put its cage exactly on line, at height and at outreach, in a single hydraulic motion — well suited to jobs that need reach straight up and out over a distance, rather than the ability to flex around an obstacle the way an articulating boom can. The boom itself is a high-tensile steel (min. YST 700 N/mm2) box section with plasma/laser-cut profiles and self-lubricating pivot points, driven by double-acting hydraulic rams with induction-hardened, chrome-plated rods. Four hydraulically operated stabilizers, each fitted with lock valves, level and anchor the vehicle before the boom is allowed to move at all — a boom-stabilizer interlock keeps the boom from operating until the stabilizers are fully extended. Slewing is 360-degree continuous via a worm-reduction slew bearing, and the whole machine is EN280-rated, with an insulated bucket option available up to 3kV for work near live electrical lines.

Key Features

  • 30m working height, 28m platform height, 10m horizontal outreach
  • High tensile steel (min. YST 700 N/mm2) telescopic boom, box section, plasma/laser-cut profiles, self-lubricating pivot points
  • Double-acting hydraulic ram with horned tube and induction-hardened, chrome-plated rod
  • Four hydraulically operated stabilizers with lock valves and independent control, plus single-push-button automatic vehicle leveling
  • 360-degree continuous slewing on a worm-reduction slew bearing
  • Aluminum operator cage (1200 x 1100 x 800mm) with non-slip flooring and drain holes
  • Independent stabilizer control at the chassis deck, switch control panel at base, wireless remote control at the cage
  • PLC-based safety interlocking (European-brand controller) with a digital safe load indicator that prevents boom function if the 200kg rated load is exceeded
  • Emergency hand pump for stopping the equipment on pump/engine failure, plus emergency cut-offs at both base and cage control
  • Two-coat epoxy primer with a two-coat PU/synthetic enamel finish
  • Optional hydraulic cage rotation, 45 degrees to each side

Specifications & Capacity

The T-3000 is built on a 12-ton GVW truck chassis with a 4200mm wheelbase. It reaches a 30m working height with a 28m platform (cage floor) height and a 10m maximum horizontal outreach, slewing a full 360 degrees continuously, with a 200kg safe working load. The aluminum operator cage measures 1200 x 1100 x 800mm, with non-slip flooring, drain holes, an onboard tool box, a working light, an emergency switch, and safety hooks, and is operated from a wireless remote at the cage in addition to the switch control panel at base and independent stabilizer controls at the chassis deck. Four hydraulic stabilizers with lock valves level the vehicle before the boom operates, backed by a single-push-button automatic vehicle leveling system. Safety systems include PLC-based electronic interlocking, a digital safe load indicator, an emergency hand pump for pump/engine failure, over-center valves on the boom cylinders, a max-pressure valve and flow restrictor on the hydraulic circuit, a spirit level indicator, and a slew restriction when the boom is in its cradle support.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the working height and outreach of the T-3000?

30m working height, 28m platform height, and 10m maximum horizontal outreach, with a 200kg safe working load — the tallest reach in Maniar's telescopic boom lift line.

What vehicle is the T-3000 mounted on?

A 12-ton GVW truck chassis with a 4200mm wheelbase.

How is the cage controlled?

Via a wireless remote control at the cage, in addition to the switch control panel at base and independent stabilizer controls at the chassis deck.

How is a telescopic boom different from an articulating boom?

A telescopic boom extends and retracts in a straight line, giving maximum vertical reach and horizontal outreach on a direct path. An articulating boom's multi-jointed arm is better suited to reaching around obstacles rather than straight up and out over distance.

What safety interlocks does the T-3000 include?

A boom-stabilizer interlock that only allows boom operation once the stabilizers are extended, PLC-based electronic safety interlocking, a digital safe load indicator, an emergency hand pump, over-center valves on the boom cylinders, and emergency cut-offs at both base and cage controls.
