The VSM-140 is Maniar's most compact vacuum sweeper, mounted on a compact truck chassis with a 1.4 cum hopper — built for narrow streets and lighter-duty routes where a larger sweeper can't easily maneuver.

One main broom (375mm dia) and two side brooms (500mm dia) — all hydraulically rotated and hydraulically raised and lowered — sweep gravel, leaves, litter, and sand into the path of the suction hose. A high-efficiency, dynamically balanced blower, driven from a split PTO, draws that debris into a hydraulically operated hopper (1.4 cum, 2mm thk MS) at the rear. Dust pulled in with the debris passes through 8 pleated filters (34 sq m filtration area) before the air is released, with an automatic pulse-jet system — 12V DC solenoid-operated pneumatic valves on a PLC-based timer — periodically clearing the filters so airflow and suction stay consistent. When the hopper is full, it's manually opened at the rear via a locking rear door for unloading. All controls, including broom up/down and rotation, hopper up/down, and PTO/blower on-off, are provided in the driver's cabin.
Mounted on a compact truck chassis, the VSM-140 is sized for narrow residential streets, parking lots, and lighter-duty municipal routes where a larger sweeper would struggle to maneuver. Its 1.4 cum hopper suits frequent, shorter runs rather than high-volume all-day routes, and because the blower draws power straight from the vehicle's own split PTO, no separate auxiliary engine needs to be carried, kept fueled, or maintained.

1600mm without the side broom, extending to 2200mm with the side broom engaged.
No — as the most compact model in Maniar's vacuum sweeper range, it does not carry an onboard water tank or spray system.
From a split PTO on the vehicle itself, so no separate auxiliary engine is needed.
A compact truck chassis, chosen for maneuverability on narrow streets and in tighter spaces than larger sweeper models can access.
