Vacuum SweeperVSM-300

The VSM-300 is a medium-duty vacuum sweeper with a 3 cum hopper, mounted on a medium-duty truck chassis for routine municipal street cleaning routes.

How It Works

One main broom (500mm dia) and two side brooms (500mm dia) — all hydraulically rotated and hydraulically raised and lowered — sweep gravel, leaves, litter, and sand into the path of the suction hose. A high-efficiency, dynamically balanced blower draws that debris into a hydraulically operated hopper (3 cum, 3mm thk MS). The blower and hydraulic system are normally powered by the VSM-300's own auxiliary diesel engine; a PTO-driven alternative, taking power directly from the vehicle instead, is also available — similar to how the compact 1.4 cum model runs. Dust pulled in with the debris passes through 15 pleated filters (64 sq m filtration area) with an automatic pulse-jet cleaning cycle before the air is released. A 200-liter plastic water tank feeds a high-pressure water pump to brass/SS spray nozzles on the side brushes, damping dust at the point of pickup. All controls, including broom up/down and rotation, hopper up/down, and engine/PTO on-off, are provided in the driver's cabin.

Key Features

  • Mounted on a medium-duty truck chassis
  • Sweeping width 1600mm without side broom, 2300mm with side broom engaged
  • 3 cum hopper, hydraulically operated, 3mm thk MS construction
  • 500mm dia main broom plus two 500mm dia side brooms, all hydraulically rotated with hydraulic up/down control
  • Blower and hydraulics normally driven by an auxiliary diesel engine, with an optional PTO-driven alternative available — similar to the 1.4 cum model
  • 15 pleated filters (64 sq m filtration area) with an automatic, PLC-timed pulse-jet cleaning cycle
  • 200-liter plastic water tank with a high-pressure pump and brass/SS spray nozzles on the side brushes
  • All controls provided in the driver's cabin

Capacity & Applications

Mounted on a medium-duty truck chassis, the VSM-300 steps up from the compact VSM-140 with a larger 3 cum hopper and a wider filtration bank suited to fuller municipal routes. The onboard water spray system helps keep dust down on drier, dustier roads that the smallest model isn't built to handle for long stretches. Because the auxiliary diesel engine can be swapped for an optional PTO-driven setup, fleets standardizing on PTO-driven equipment can specify the VSM-300 to match.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the sweeping width of the VSM-300?

1600mm without the side broom, extending to 2300mm with the side broom engaged.

Does the blower need its own engine?

It normally runs off its own auxiliary diesel engine, but a PTO-driven alternative, taking power directly from the vehicle, is also available as an option.

Does the VSM-300 have a water spray system?

Yes — a 200-liter plastic tank feeds a high-pressure pump to brass/SS spray nozzles on the side brushes for dust suppression.

What vehicle does the VSM-300 mount on?

A medium-duty truck chassis, sized between the compact VSM-140 and the larger VSM-500 and VSM-600 models.
